Geneva headlines National Finals
 sponsor roster for Fourth Year

The National Brass Band Championships announces that the Principal Sponsor of the 2014 National Finals is, for the fourth time, Geneva Instruments.

Said the UK-based Company’s Managing Director, Craig Buchan: “Globally, 2014 is proving to be the most exciting year yet for Geneva Instruments and we are justly proud to be once again the Principal Sponsor of UK-based Geneva’s home Championships.”

Philip Morris, of Kapitol Promotions, which presents the Finals, said Kapitol was delighted to again welcome Geneva on board, commenting: “Geneva is a fast-developing manufacturer of high-end instruments now being played by players and bands the world over. We are delighted that such a high-profile company has decided to support the high point of the international banding calendar - the prestigious UK National Finals - for a fourth year. Such a loyal sponsor is important to the events.”

Geneva Instruments also recently revealed that the the international brass band conductor, player and educator, Professor David King, had been appointed as its International Advisory Consultant and that Brighouse and Rastrick Band has elected to play on Geneva Instruments.

Geneva has also recently added the former Black Dyke bass player, Joseph Cook, to its roster of roving international artists that includes LSO trumpeter Rod Franks, as well as brothers James and Thomas Fountain, and Eikanger-Bjørsvik’s Principal Cornet, David Morton, to name but a few of the Company’s high-profile artists.

Geneva is also poised to develop and introduce the intermediate Academy range of Geneva Instruments with David King, who is himself currently establishing the successful student exchange / educational Global Academy Project in Australia, Norway and the UK.
